Payware business aircraft (Newbie help)

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I'm looking for a small to mid-size corporate payware aircraft to buy for no more than £40 ($61). It can't be fps-heavy because I only average between 17 and 30 fps in the default fsx aircraft (I've got a small laptop!). I would also ideally like it to be able to fly SIDS/STARS (for vatsim)

I've looked at the Eaglesoft Citation X 2.0 which looks good (but their site seems fairly out of date), the Carenado Embraer Phenom 100 and 300, the Xtreme Prototypes Lear business jet series and the FeelThere Embraer Phenom 100.

Which one of those planes would you recommend? Also if you have any suggestions for any other payware planes, please tell me!

Thanks

Eaglesoft's site is "out of date". Funny that Ron has completely replaced the original site with new software and new graphics only three months ago...

Carenado Hawker 850XP. Around 50 USD, nicely detailed cabin, etc.

I don't own the extreme prototypes learjet, but it looks to be a little bit better on the systems side than Carenado's bizjets. It's fartly old (the real airplane) and has an older autopilot. Another cool learjet (agian, I don't have it though) is the learjet 24 by lionheart creations, but again it's an older aircraft. Both are fairly cheap.

I have and love the XP Lear 20 package.

You can fly SIDs and STARs with it as long as you do not expect the FMC to do it for you, 'cause there ain't one.

How difficult would that be? Would it be the same as entering the waypoints in to the fsx flight manually?
