silverheels2 Posted November 12, 2014 Share Posted November 12, 2014 Hi all: I have attached the link to an NTSB/FAA report on the cockpit voice recorder on that Southwest 737 that 'wheel barrowed" in at LGA awhile back. It is very interesting to read since the recording extends back to the point where they began their descent and through the approach to "touchdown", as it were. The FO was the PF. I found in particular the discussions and decision process as regards the AP and the various options for which mode to use for a particular maneuver.
