DominicS Posted September 3, 2015 Posted September 3, 2015 Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport By FFDG PANC, or Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport, is a Class C airport located in Anchorage, Alaska. It is the busiest airport in the state of Alaska, and the 5th-busiest cargo airport in the world. It serves several major cargo airlines, and is a hub for FedEx and UPS. The airport is also a hub for Alaska Airlines, who serves destinations to the US and within the state of Alaska. Several smaller airlines are also hubbed in Anchorage, such as Ravn Alaska, PenAir, and Northern Air Cargo, all of which primarily operate in Alaska. The airport has three long runways, 15/33, 7L/25R, and 7R/25L. Typically runways 7L and 7R are used for landings, with runway 33 (at intersection K) used for departures.
