Default Virtual Cockpit is missing

Hi,

 

I downloaded the TDS 737-800 base package for fsx but the VC was missing, 2D flight deck was visible. I changed the flight deck from the one provided in the download to the default B737-800, the VC is missing as well and 2D panel is visible. I want to keep the default panel, so how can I go about fixing the issue?

 

I did search the forum before hand, and one user said to give information on what is in the model folder, however the converation went in another direction, but I guess it's of importance so when I go into the model folder I find:

B737_800.mdl

B737_800_interior.mdl

model.cfg

It would depend on whether the uploder of that aircraft says that there is a VC with that particular aircraft. What is the exact download you tried? Give the filename.

 

If it is this: tds_b737-800_base_package.zip It does not have a VC and it comes with the FS2004 737 2D cockpit only. Changing it to the FSX737-800 panel folder does not give it a VC. There are some downloads that have the default 737-800 VC for the TDS models.

Think you've lost track somehow, that's the contents of the stock B738 model folder, not the TDS model folder.

Some of the TDS's include instructions on how to merge the default VC into their plane. I never had luck with it; maybe you will.

By chance I just did that merge yesterday, so still fresh in my aging memory.

With more specific Qs from OP I could be of some help IMO.

Thanks for the reply guys. I done a quick research and the TDS model I am using does not handle the VC. I instead downloaded the TDS 737-MAX8 which comes with VC.
