vertigho
As the title states, I'm currently looking for a relatively cheap, yet reliable USB headset for use on FS2004/Vatsim. I realize "relatively cheap" and "reliable" may be diametrically opposed, especially when it comes to headsets, but I wanted to reach out and see what folks are using and if they'd recommend any specific products. I'd like to spend no more than $50 if possible. Thanks in advance.
FraisLive
Got this for $30 on Amazon. I would recommend for a cheap headset but am now looking for a wireless one. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/p/lifechat-lx-3000 Best Regards- Tyler Real World Teenage Pilot- Training in 2006 C172SP G1000 & 2011 Carbon Cub Intel i7 3770K 4.5 GHz; 8gb DDR3 1600; MSI GTX760 OC Edition; Windows 7 64-bit
wa3pnt
I picked up one of these headsets at Newegg, refurbished for $39 http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&DEPA=0&Order=BESTMATCH&Description=blackshark&N=-1&isNodeId=1 Then I purchased this USB Audio Dongle. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H6YTX06/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Now I can send the radio communications to the headset, and other sounds to the speakers. It might be less expensive to purchase a headset with the 1/8" connections and then a USB dongle. RodeoGeorge
