dorianr
got steam account and my cpu it's not the same. Best is to have you games or simulation IN you Hard drive, than "online" (take for ever to start a game that is in the "cloud" drive
enuffsaid
OMG! LOL! Clearly you don't have a Steam account otherwise you would know games are downloaded to your HDD before you can play them. It is also possible (after initial activation) to play FSX SE w/o being connected to Steam. You certainly don't play them "in the cloud". :D

dorianr
I know, with out the account i will not put a "comment". (OMG! LOL!) I have to have a steam account to run my 2015 train sim, yes it's nice my point is loading time and all the other craps that steam have from you HD monitoring vs have you own game playing PRIVATE! like I have with FSX, and EuroTruck! ( copy from Yahoo ) "You purchase your games through steam and they are added onto your games library on your account. The game is now yours forever. You can install your game or delete it whenever you want. I have more than 100 games on my Steam account and naturally there's no way I can have them all installed at once. I delete and install games all the time and it's never an issue. Wait wait. Steam IS on PC. There might be some confusion on your end. But buying a game on Steam isn't much different from buying it on retail. Except that buying retail gives you the actual physical copy of the disc whereas the Steam version will remain as a..... digital download.... loki
When you install a Steam game it is installed directly onto your hard drive, which may take a while depending on how fast your internet connection is. After it is installed, it is always run from the hard drive, not run from the cloud, each time you play.

In your first post you clearly said: Best is to have you games or simulation IN you Hard drive, than "online" (take for ever to start a game that is in the "cloud" drive Well, with steam you do have your games installed on your harddrive. And if you had 100 games on DVD you wouldn't be able to have them all installed at the same time, either. It's a matter of installing from DVD or downloading from Steam. I like having my games at steam and I don't need to bother with updates as they are automatically installed.
