Kdierken Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Adam that plane I thought is funny looking as a child, and still do but yet very interesting for it's time. great shots of that historical plane. Kenny
jeh Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 I saw the most beautiful 1/4 scale RC model of one of these once, naked airframe before covering with canvas and dope! Great shots Adam, thanks for the links. Cheese War Enthusiast.
NMLW Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 Fine captures of that pretty Aeronca Adam. Great scenery as usual. Top notch job all around!  :D Larry

wolf2 Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 what a neat little plane! guy my size could probably put it over gross weight by just leaning on it tho, hehe. ( back when I instructed, if my student was anywhere near my size and if we were using a 150 we'd have to pick one with tanks half full to stay under gross). and id be really afraid of grass airstrips with such little clearance! azzaro Posted August 20, 2015 Posted August 20, 2015 That's even uglier than most of the Intrepid Airman's rides! Still, one mustn't look a gift plane in the cowling.;) Great shots as ever Adam! — Bob [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] i7-7700 3.6GHz / GTX1660 6GB / 32GB RAM / 49" Samsung CHG90 / WIN10
