VFR_Steve
I love this kind of flying, not a bad bizz jet this, with just a few odd niggles. Nice shots!

annber
Thank you Aharon, Steve, and jeh, your comments are very kind and much appreciated.:) Aharon, that is TropicalSim TUPJ, but without the photoreal scenery that comes with it or the mesh. iwan2fly
Great stuff! I almost built the same computer you have listed in your specs...wife said maybe next year. I guess that will give me the excuse to buy the X99 boards with DDR5 memory, etc. How are your frame rates with the i7-4790K chip?
PhantomTweak
...wife said maybe next year. You know, mine says that, but "next year" never seems to come. She plays the famous "But now this year is THIS year, I said NEXT year!" card on me. I gave up on getting a new one :D Great set of pictures, by the way. But I sure wish I was rich enough to go "run errands" in a small Lear-jet type bird! Pat☺ [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again! annber
:pilot: Thank you Larry, your comments are very generous.:):) :pilot: iwan2fly, I had a similar wifey problem, so I negotiated a solution, I promised no flightsimming on weekend evenings and to bring her along on a trip to NY later this fall. After that she even came along to help put together the new rig.:):) I get about 25-30 fps locked at 30 at LAX with FSDT LAX, PMDG 777, Traffic, ASN, and photoreal SoCal. The biggest frame drops so far seem to be around Orbx scenery, (NorCal), where in San Carlos I get sometimes 18 fps. I have not overclocked mine yet. :pilot: Pat, thank you for the nice comments, Hey, order your rig on December 31, then there is no argument:):) ANNBER https://www.facebook.com/Photosim-Labs-133663917277630/
iwan2fly
Ah...bargaining...I'll have to try that one! :-) Thanks for the details as well. Now I'm really getting excited to build...er, uh, bargain with the 'boss'...
PhantomTweak
The biggest frame drops so far seem to be around Orbx scenery, (NorCal), where in San Carlos I get sometimes 18 fps. San Carlos s very close to the town I grew up in! :D I know preceisely where, in Woodside, the VORTAC tower is. Used to do a lot of hiking/camping in the woods near it. Sadly, a lot of the redwood trees are gone now, killed so a rich person could put in yet another mansion...It USED to look like where the Ewoks live, now, it's just another city. So sad...:( If I could afford to build a mansion, it would be around and among them, not in spite of them...Maybe have a few in the middle of it. No trees harmed in the making of this home, kind of thing. Pat☺ Pat, I didn't grow up in the area, but did go to college a stone's throw away very close to Woodside, in fact a redwood is in the logo of my alma mater. Lot of partying back in those days.
