ColR1948
I went to re-instal FS Repaint v2, after entering the code it then went on to carry on the install then it threw up a box saying it needed D3DX8AB.DLL, well I have that file but still it doesn't find it. I went online and the advice was to put that file either in the folder with the install which I can't do because the program won't go that far. Or to put it in SysWOW64 folder which I di but still no joy, I also put it in the System32 folder just in case but and again no luck. Has anybody else had this problem if so please advise? tiger1962
Try copying it into the FSRepaint folder and the C:\Windows folder, just in case. Tim Wright "The older I get, the better I was..." ColR1948
Strange this, I get the box popup with the messge 'Error 1310.Error writing to file: C:\D3DX8AB.DLL, Verify that you have access to that directory.' I went in the Abacus FSRepaint folder and there was the DLL, but I noticed it was an old one so I deleted it and pasted in a newer one and still it failed. When it says the file: C\D3DX8AB'DLL that is not in the windows folder and I cant place it in the C:\ I get refused.
