theonyrealbigmike Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Hi, I am relatively new to flight sim. I got FS2000 Pro as a present back in 2000, but never did much with it. I now also have FSX & X-Plane both of which I like. The point is I am not interested in playing shoot em ups, but commercial aircraft. Real aircraft have either a yoke (not practical for me) or a joystick (Airbus) and the pilot sits on the left. So to add a level of realism I need a left-handed joystick. Can anyone suggest one suitable for use in this respect? Although price is not the issue, I don't want to pay a fortune for it. Help. Regards Mike

Usually you can use either hand on the joystick of your choice.;) I think that's about as far as I should go with that! Check out Amazon for the best prices. Welcome aboard! Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
ViperPilot2 Posted August 1, 2015 Posted August 1, 2015 Some Saitek joysticks (ST-290, Aviator, Cyborg) can be set up for ambidextrous use, but most others are ergonomically 'molded' for right hand use only.
