evm
vWhenever i start myPMDG 737 NGX in a diffrent livery the PFD inside of it is all messed up like i have my compass my engine indicators and etc. Is there any way i can change that? Messed up how? Broken or just in a different configuration? Some liveries in the PMDG control center reflect the configuration that airline ordered for their 737's. Not all of them are alike, the customer at Boeing gets a wide choice of how he would like his instrumentation laid out. You could adjust this on the setup pages in the FMC. dnpaul
That's one of the nice things about the NGX-- every aircraft has its own personality. I definitely prefer the MFD/ND layout to the EFIS/MAP layout, though. I only keep one old Continental livery with that setup.
alverthein
dlaskowski, I suggest you read the provided manuals from PMDG about your 737 and they will tell you all you need to know about flying the plane....I have their products and their manuals are good...also You Tube has plenty of tutorials to get you on your way.....so do your homework like the rest of us...al v
MBKHOU
That's one of the nice things about the NGX-- every aircraft has its own personality. I definitely prefer the MFD/ND layout to the EFIS/MAP layout, though. I only keep one old Continental livery with that setup. I've never really liked EFIS-MAP either. I find it quite cluttered and not as efficient as PFD-ND. Southwest and Continental both used it on their NG's, so they would be common to the 737 Classics. I was sure glad Southwest went to PFD-ND when they made the switch to RNP. And Continental recently did away with it also. As far as I know, no large US carriers are using EFIS-MAP any more. But I'm sure there are a lot of older planes owned by smaller outfits that still have it. And I think a few in EU may still use it. Most planes that are old enough to be rigged for EFIS-MAP, also have the older Honeywell MCP.
