Aeroplasma
So for a while in FSX, whenever I start up my engines and taxi on to the runway for takeoff, everything is normal. However, when implementing full power on the aircraft (jet planes), the aircraft uncontrollably turns right. I have no idea what the issue is. I tried maximizing ailerons and rudder fully towards the left and it kept veering to the right. Also, the weather was cleared and yet it still veered towards the right. Fuel is equivalent. I have no idea how to fix this problem, which annoys me how I can't fly any of my planes unless they spawn in mid-air. I don't use joystick, but a mouse yoke instead. Any help please? Aeroplasma
I have noticed that my aircraft constantly turns left whenever my engine #1 is on full power. Even with engine #2 with full power, the #1 engine seems to overpower it. Even when I start the engine #2 first, the engine #1 which I started later still managed to get the upperhand. Once full power, the aircraft just goes in circles by constantly turning right. Any help?
SouthportGuy
Are you trying to run Fraps at the same time? mrzippy
Before going to takeoff power, hit the Numpad5 key to center all controls. Are both engines at the exact same N1 setting at takeoff power? I highly recommend getting an inexpensive joystick for better control. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
annber
Is auto rudder checked in settings? ANNBER https://www.facebook.com/Photosim-Labs-133663917277630/
Aeroplasma
Before going to takeoff power, hit the Numpad5 key to center all controls. Are both engines at the exact same N1 setting at takeoff power? I highly recommend getting an inexpensive joystick for better control. I hit the Numpad5 key, but it only changes the view of the aircraft. And yes, both engines are at the exact N1 settings at takeoff power. It also seems whenever the engine #1 thrust is very low in percent, it still has power to overtake my aircraft controls completely. Sadly, I don't know a nearby store that has a joystick for sale. As for me, I usually don't order online.
Aeroplasma
Is auto rudder checked in settings? Yes auto rudder is checked in settings... still does nothing to stop the aircraft from turning constantly right.
CptCaveman
Sounds to me like you have your throttle setup wrong. Its likely only set to one engine to throttle up causing you to veer sideways. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

How would you fix that? I had a feeling that might be, but i'm not sure. Testing with other aircraft, I only experience it with the aircrafts that are using the B737-800 cockpit. CptCaveman
In the controls menu, go to axis settings and check your stick is setup properly. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

mrzippy
I want to confirm that you are flying the default 737-800 and not an addon aircraft. All other multi-engine jets fly OK. Numpad5 is, by default, programmed to "Center all Controls". Have you changed any of the default keyboard settings? Take a look at your aircraft from a "chase view, locked spot" setting as you takeoff. Your rudder and all other control surfaces should be centered. If both of your engines are running and N1 for both is the same, then one cannot overpower the other. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! TightGit
As for me, I usually don't order online. Why on earth not? That's where you can get some bargains, especially off the second hand classifieds. Flying a plane without a joystick is like driving a car without a steering wheel!
il88pp
possibly you pressed "e + 1" (shortly after each other, not together) this selects engine 1 If your saved flight has this selected, this will be so in all flights. In that case when your throttle is idle they are at the same level. But when you add thrust, only engine 1 revs up. To select both engines instead of just 1, press "e".
