Any Multiple Screen Users Out There? Problem with Scenery

I am using three screens for FSX. I am having a problem getting FSINN to load when I go to a airport with 3rd party scenery. In order to get on FSINN I have to go to an airport that does not have any 3rd party scenery. Get FSINN loaded, then go to the airport with the 3rd party scenery.

Not only that whether default scenery or 3rd party I will see it in my side monitors, but not my main monitor. In order to clear that up I have to exit the flight, then reenter it. Also after getting the scenery in all three screens I can fly to another area with 3rd party software and have the same problem where I can't see it in my middle screen but see it in the side monitor.

I never had this problem when I used one screen so it has to be related to the multiple screens ... is anyone else having this problem???

Control panel/display/adjust resolution. Your monitors are displayed as 1-2-3. Click on your center monitor and check the box "make this my main display". I use my 3 monitors with center monitor as main display, GPS and radar altimeter on right display and charts on the left.

Hello ... well sir ... I have the monitors set up the way you stated for display set up. However ... I have a 4th monitor that takes care of maps, GPS and such. What I have is the middle screen (main monitor)is my front view with the 2nd and 3rd screens as my side view. Having just the one screen to view defeats my purpose of side views. So still looking for a solution to connecting with FSINN and the scenery not appearing in all 3 screens. Thanks for reading my post.

Have you set up a New View with what you want the outside view to be for each of the side screens? If so, you should just be able to call that flight your default. It should come right up. Then before Fly Now, change the flight start location & the setup should move with it.

He has gauges there. You can instead open "new views", (they open in a small window), then drag them to the side monitors and enlarge.

As I read it, he said his gauges were on monitor #4.

Despite that, you and are still saying basically the same thing. Except I only need to set my side screens up once for scenery. Then that's where they already are. Of course, should I want to do something else, I can easily change in the manner you describe.

Yes indeed ... I did try that, but I still have the problem especially when I fly to another area with 3rd party scenery. I notice that my right side screen always shows the 3rd party scenery. As far as connecting to FSINN ... it must have to do with a combination of the 3 screens showing the scenery. This problem always happens when I load into an area with 3rd party scenery. Perhaps I should find a FSINN forum for more tech info?

I love when someone says multiple monitors. I use 6 monitors - 3 for main screen using Matrox splitter. The other three are used for gauges and overhead. I am running Vista 64 - 3 ghz, 8 meg ram - 2 -8800 Nvidia OC cards. It is an older rig, but runs very nice. Do not see any reason to upgrade operating system at this time.

I have a feeling there is no solution to my problem.

Does your video card have 4 connectors or are you using some other setup.

Two hooked up to a GTX 660 GPU and two hooked up with Kingsington USB Multi display adapters. No problems with just the two hooked up.

I tried USB monitor on my rig, just for GPS. Used a mini USB monitor. It did not support Direct X, and caused problems. I could only run the software in window mode, it worked, but ran pretty slow. No longer using USB monitors. I have two GeForce Nvidia 8800, 2 ports per video card. I have 1st port going through a Matrox splitter, and the other three monitors on port 2 of one card, and both ports of the 2nd card. It has worked pretty flaw-less over the last few years.
