Force InfoGauge Heading Display to 3 Digits- How?

I'm using the Infogauge from infoga_dcbv1.zip from the library here. I've modified its XML (with help from this community) to change its default screen position, enlarge it, change colors and stop the descender from the letter "g" from being cut off.

Here is my current XML:

%((A:Indicated Altitude,feet))%!6d!%(' MSL')%!-5s!

%((A:Airspeed select indicated or true,knots))%!3d!%(' Kts')%!-5s!

%((A:Plane heading degrees gyro,degrees))%!3d!%(' Mag')%!-5s!

When I am on a heading of 100 degrees or more, it nicely shows me a 3-digit heading display- 100, 245, 311, whatever- but when I'm on a heading of 001, 026 or 099, for example, it shows me just 1, 26 or 99, respectively. How can I format/force the heading display to 3 digits (the worldwide norm for headings!) regardless of its numerical value?

Once again, Bean, you amaze. Keep this up and you might just drag me, kicking and screaming, into some low level of expertise... on some rudimentary subject... Nah. Prolly not going to happen. :p

Thank you!

 • 2 months later...

Hey guys, I use infogauge to put the Altitude/Airspeed/Heading figures along the top of the screen like in this screenshot, but when I just tried to open its CAB file to change the colours of the numbers and make them bigger I couldn't open it with Notepad, Wordpad or anything else!

Any advice how to open it for editing?

The .cab file is a compressed folder, kinda like a .zip file.

You have to extract the contents from the .cab file to get the .xml file.

There are several extractors available that do this if your default Windows extractor will not.

I use WINRar, 7zip is another fan favorite.

&Zip is my choice, although there are several file made just for CAB files. A quickie on Google is very effective to find them...
