pcohen
Hi everybody, need some help please. I am trying to place a Map Icon in my Cockpit , ( have placed Icons before with no problems ) but this time I am going round in circles. I want to turn the Map On and Off with the Mouse instead of the Keyboard. Any help or suggestions please. Regards Paul. Windows 10 2020. Processor: AMD Ryzon 5 3600 6-Core Processor 3.59 GHz. mrzippy
What aircraft? Is it a freeware model or payware? If freeware, provide a download link or file name. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
pcohen
What aircraft? Is it a freeware model or payware? If freeware, provide a download link or file name. Hi, thanks for reply. The Aircraft is'nt so important as it came without Panel & Sound. I am using the ultimate Boeing Panel Version 2. The Aircraft is a Fictitious A340-600 in British Airways Livery ( BA did'nt have any A340's ) which somebody kindly done as a Repaint a long while ago for me. Any help would be much appreciated. Many thanks Paul. Windows 10 2020. Processor: AMD Ryzon 5 3600 6-Core Processor 3.59 GHz. Installed memory (RAM): 16.0 GB. System type: 64-bit Operating System X64-based processor. mrzippy
Looking for that version and came up empty for Ultimate Being Panel Version 2. What problem do you have placing the map icon on the panel? Finding a space for it? Do you have a link for that particular panel? Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!

mrzippy
Hello again, thanks for reply. This is the ZIP theultimativeboeingpanel_v21.zip Many thanks Paul. Not available in our Library and no longer available at AVSIM. One last attempt at asking what the problem is. Can you not see the ICON where you place it? Is it hiding behind another gauge? Just looking through the Ultimateboeingpanel v3.1 from AVSIM and it has a map icon already there. This might be a better option. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! pcohen
Hi Mr Zippy, appologies for late reply, have been back in Hospital. Thankfully i have now sorted this out, found offending Panel on some old Disk backups that I have. Sorry to have wasted your time. Many thanks for help. Regards Paul. Windows 10 2020. napamule2
Paul, Usually there is a 'space' next to existing panel ICONs. If not (due to panel bitmap) just eliminate one (Clock? GPS?) and use that 'space' to put your MAP ICON in. See below. Example: B737-400 panel: //----------- (STEP 1) --- //------------------------- ORIGNAL ---------------------------------- gauge50=SimIcons!Clock Icon, 16, 111 gauge51=SimIcons!Kneeboard Icon, 30, 111 gauge52=SimIcons!ATC Icon, 44, 111 gauge53=SimIcons!Overhead Icon, 114, 111 gauge54=SimIcons!ECU Icon, 100, 111 gauge55=SimIcons!Map Icon, 58, 111 gauge56=SimIcons!Avionics Icon, 72, 111 gauge57=SimIcons!GPS Icon, 86, 111 //---------- (STEP 2) ---- //----------------- RE-ARRANGE / RE-NUMBER ------------- gauge50=SimIcons!Clock Icon, 16, 111 //----------------------------------------------------14 spacing --- gauge51=SimIcons!Kneeboard Icon, 30, 111 //----------------------------------------------------14 spacing --- gauge52=SimIcons!ATC Icon, 44, 111 //---------------------------------------------------- 14 spacing --- 58 //---------------------------------------------------- 14 spacing --- gauge53=SimIcons!Avionics Icon, 72, 111 //-----------------------------------------------------14 spacing --- gauge54=SimIcons!GPS Icon, 86, 111 //---------------------------------------------------- 14 spacing --- gauge55=SimIcons!ECU Icon, 100, 111 //---------------------------------------------------- 14 spacing --- gauge56=SimIcons!Overhead Icon, 114, 111 //--------------------------------------------------- 14 spacing -- 128 //------------ (STEP 3) ------ //---------- FINAL LAYOUT (OJO - RE-NUMBER!) ---------- gauge50=SimIcons!Clock Icon, 16, 111 gauge51=SimIcons!Kneeboard Icon, 30, 111 gauge52=SimIcons!ATC Icon, 44, 111 gauge53=SimIcons!Map Icon, 58, 111 // gauge54=SimIcons!Avionics Icon, 72, 111 gauge55=SimIcons!GPS Icon, 86, 111 gauge56=SimIcons!ECU Icon, 100, 111 gauge57=SimIcons!Overhead Icon, 114, 111 //-------------------------- OR ----------------------------------------- //------------ (STEP 3) -------- //---------- FINAL LAYOUT (OJO - RE-NUMBER!) ---------- gauge50=SimIcons!Clock Icon, 16, 111 gauge51=SimIcons!Kneeboard Icon, 30, 111 gauge52=SimIcons!ATC Icon, 44, 111 gauge53=SimIcons!Avionics Icon, 72, 111 gauge54=SimIcons!GPS Icon, 86, 111 gauge55=SimIcons!ECU Icon, 100, 111 gauge56=SimIcons!Overhead Icon, 114, 111 gauge57=SimIcons!Map Icon, 128, 111 // Chuck B Napamule PS: Hope you are feeling better.
