Batman47
So when I activate surround (3 monitors) the view looks as if thru a telephoto lens. The takeoff roll appears as if in slow motion. Does anyone know why the view is so distorted? The bezel correction is perfect. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
Rupert
More info please. Which surround monitor process? Which, by brand and model, GPU? Which scenery brand & level? Which display settings? etc. I use 3 monitors everyday, no issues like that. Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
Batman47
I'm running 3 Vizio 30 inch flat panels driven by a Nvidea graphics card in surround mode. The system runs beautifully in XPlane10 but takes on this zoomed appearance in FSX. The only way I could get rid of the instrument panel was to move the eyepoint forward of the propeller. Is there another way? I suppose I could turn off surround and drag 2 other virtual cockpits onto the outter displays but I had trouble lining up the horizon since the tuning up or down did not allow for very fine steps. Also, I had to do this every time I started the sim. Bummer. Any suggestions would be great. I may be going about this all wrong. Mark Hurst
The only way I could get rid of the instrument panel was to move the eyepoint forward of the propeller. Is there another way? Open up fsx.cfg, then add this: [Display] WideViewAspect=True Then set your zoom to 1.0 or thereabouts. MarkH
