Why can't I see the nose of the plane when moving the camera forward in VC

Hi,

I have seen a lot of video's where players move the camera over the dashboard to look out the window and the nose of the plane is in sight. When I try this, I can't see the nose. I was wondering how this is done as I would like to do it for myself.

Thanks.

I was only able to do it with the Baron58. The video you were watching my have been a payware aircraft and the person may have set up a camera using EZDOC or something similar.

To expand on Kieth's correct answer, each plane is made up of 2 models, the interior model seen from the VC and the exterior model seen from just about every other camera.

This is what the default Baron interior model looks like...

As you can see, there is a lot of the exterior missing, This is so we can have moving switches and whatnot in the VC.

Thank you all. I done some research into the aircraft they were using and it was payware. The maker of the payware must have made it possible to see the nose when looking over the dashboard.

Thanks for all your answers.

Move the camera UP with Shift Enter to peep over the dashboard like in the second pic below..:)

VIRTUAL COCKPIT EYEPOINT MOVEMENT

(Hold keys down to slide your eyeballs)

SHIFT Enter= Up

SHIFT Backspace=Down

SHIFT CTRL Enter= RIGHT

SHIFT CTRL Backspace= LEFT

CTRL Backspace= Forward

CTRL Enter= Back

Hold CTRL and hit SPACE= Reset

For example here are some shots after sliding the eyepoint to various positions in a Cessna.

You might also want to hit the zoom/unzoom keys (- and =) to finetune the view-
