Airport moving FS 2004

Can anybody tell me how to transport a complete

airport to a new location and paste it in, intact?

FS 2004

I have FSSC on my computer.

Is this just a matter of finding the SCASM file

for an airport?

ADE will move an entire airport, but it needs the ProKey, ie, the $$$$$ version.

No idea about FSSC.

If your airport is SCASM based, then in theory you could Notepad it, but in practice, that would involve manually calculating the new latitude and longitude for EVERY object in the airport. Airport for Windows will also do it, but that's very old, don't count on it working.

Finally, my experience with bulk moving things is that as well as moving them, often you have to rotate them (sometimes a little, sometimes a lot). Dunno if ADE will do that.

The Airports in FS2004 are XML coded not the older FS2002 SCASM compiled airports. If it is the older compiled FS2002 airport forced into FS2004 then you must decompile the .sca compiled file and manually change all the Lat/Lon.

When finished recompile the .sca file using the lastest version of the SCASM compiler

The Airport utility ADE will not work with FS2000/2002 compiled airports.
