johankotze
Where can I get this type of realism as in the link below.
pvarn
The person who provided the video did not provide enough information to answer your question. Nearly everyone else in the comments asked the same question without a definitive answer from the uploader, so there is no way to know. Regardless of where this all comes from, you'll probably not get this result without a computer in the 4+ GHz range. -Pv- 2 carrot salad, 10.41 liter bucket, electric doorbell, 17 inch fan, 12X14, 85 Dbm
mrzippy
Where can I get this type of realism as in the link below. This type of realism can be gotten down at your local bank where your money hides out! It looks like he has a very high-end computer and as he states, with lots of addons...(Payware) Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer! ScatterbrainKid
This type of realism can be gotten down at your local bank where your money hides out! It looks like he has a very high-end computer and as he states, with lots of addons...(Payware) Yes he's probably a single guy like me, we're rolling in cash..:) Last year I waltzed into my local computer shop and said to the boss in a loud voice so all the customers could hear- "Hi mate, build me a PC that can play all the high-end games and sims, I'll go over a thousand pounds [1500 dollars] if I have to", and a hush descends on the shop as the amazed customers stare at me with a mix of awe and envy.. darryl737
There is a little bit of smoke and mirrors at play here to make it look as good and smooth as it does. That being said I would say its a very high spec machine with quite a number of add-ons, I would imagine a return trip to Dubai would cost you about the same, only you get to experience it for real. johankotze
Specially more expensive for me as I'am staying in South Africa and our Rand versus Dollar/Pound/Euro are hectic.
evm
Just had a short peek (download limit), looks familiar. I would guess - FlyTampa Dubai Rebooted - FsDreamTeam GSX - Maybe Rex4 Textures, maybe SoftClouds. I doubt it though, doesn't look right - Doesn't look like ASN is at work here, no atmospheric scattering. This would add to the realism - Probably 'Shade' because of the shading and darker colors The A380 I don't know, but as there is no high quality model out there, it should be something pretty standard. You don't need a super computer to run all that, but it helps. From my experience everything at or above I7 3770K @4,2 with a GTX 780 Ti will do just fine. Maybe throw in a SSD. MBKHOU
If you want realism...this is realism. Watch "San Francisco Sunset Landing - 737 Cockpit Flight (Home Simulator)" on YouTube https://youtu.be/3WYQ4CaXH9c He's got a good number of videos, and also one where he shows the hardware he used for the sim. I think this was the last video before he sold the sim. And it was further improved after this video was shot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AZWFSNLCuNU He is a real pilot, and owns a small plane, but I forgot what it is.. He spent well over $100k building that sim, and I suspect he sold it for a fairly hefty price tag. I don't know if he got bored with it, or someone made him an offer he couldn't refuse. I think it's the best home 737 sim I've seen so far. His had the F/O side too with linked yokes eventually, etc.. The sim itself is FS9, and the reason he used it was he could get a steady 60 fps no matter where he was in the world. Think it was 60 fps anyway.. And the NGX wasn't out yet when he built that, so not sure what plane software he was using. I guess it could have been the "old" PMDG 737, but not sure. Picowatt
I love the the fact I have a girlfriend but times I wish I could sit at home being greedy playing FSX. However that is not the case. Yes while this person has a good PC and lots of Payware he has probabaly spent a week editing the video. I know most 'realism' youtube videos tend to add stuff like real world sounds. Keep working with what youve got. I learnt that rather than build a PC with mega bucks I kept going buying piece at a time.
