pjsvegas
Decided to try a second install for classic aircraft and airports. Did research here through the forums and found a post with a very logical explanation how to do this. Thought I followed the step by step explanation of how to do this, and did get a second install accomplished. Only problem now is the second desktop icon takes me to the original download. Am sure I did not get changing the fs9.exe correct for the second Icon. All help appreciated. Not that computer literate.
copperpen
All I do for extra "installs" is to do a copy/paste of the original FS9 installation, then delete the 'planes I do not want in it. Rename the folder to reflect what it is, then drag out a shortcut to the desktop, naming the shortcut the same as the folder.
tgibson_new
I agree. Delete your second shortcut icon, find the fs9.exe file in your second installation, and right click it. Then choose make Shortcut. Drag that to your desktop. Hope this helps, Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page: http://www.calclassic.com
pjsvegas
Thanks for the help! I really appreciate your work and the Cal Classic site. I first saw Kenny Fox work when I downloaded Ktvl, was pretty much hooked on that kind of work! Have recently downloaded a lot of the airport scenery but needed to get by this hurdle to start using them. Thanks again!
