napamule2
You just joined this forum-welcome to FSCom forums. You must just got started with FSX (or simming anyway). You can spend your next years allowance on AddOns in no time. You can't use them all at once. You won't enjoy one when you will want another. You don't NEED addons to enjoy FSX. You won't enjoy being broke. Learn the in & out of flying (start with C-172). Then next year (week/month?) think about the 'bling'. It is more important that you emerce yourself in the FSX total package (there is a lot to learn) before you will every 'enloy' the addons. Believe me. I have so much to do on a daily basis, and learn something new every day. And that is counting only the last 10 years. I am 75 yrs old and have been interested in airplanes since I was 5 yrs old. I have no use for payware-too busy already with the 'default' offerings - and I download something NEW every other day. Again-I don't own ANY payware. Get real It's a hobby. A thing to enjoy. Not a video game. It's a technical activity, and not a 'Country Club' membership with 'bragging rights' (like playing golf at Peeble Beach every other day? every weekend?). Use my head. Cheers. darryl737
There are some fantastic free add-ons out there, some come close to the payware stuff. There is more than enough out there to keep anyone satisfied for years. If you post a list of what payware add-ons you are after I am sure you will get plenty of suggestions of freeware that will do the job just as well.
