Logtech Wingman joy stick possible problem and fix

Well I have the above joystick which has worked well for years.   I now have a runaway rudder.   The rudder moves left to right on take off which make the takeoff tough.  I have adjusted sensitivities and also assignments over and over and the rudder manual or automatic which sometimes helps.

 

I am wondering if someone can help me out correcting this problem.  I need to have control over the rudder to do some slips on landing.

 

This problem sure makes using the sim a pain

Do the controls seem normal in the windows Game Controller window?  Try a different USB port.

Ok will do.   Some times it seems to work well with a  different plane.
