The best part of that flight was finding the southern approach to LOWS in that grey stuff between those little hills. I actually forgot to take screenies. Most would have been only windows with grey stuff beyond anyway.

thanks, but 18.000 feet should suffice methinks. Then again, I admit I didn't cross the whole range... Weather was so bad after landing in LOWS, I didn't dare taking off again. I find it more enjoyable when I can see the mountains to my left and right...

Flying south from my place to cross the Alps, the highest peak would be the Marmolata probably, reaching about 10.000. Nice place to do some gliding btw, there is a pretty good photo scenery available for free (Trentino).
