billdebaze
Hey, FSX P3Dv2 FSX P3Dv2 FSX P3Dv2 FSX P3Dv2 FSX P3Dv2 FSX vs P3Dv2, DX9 vs DX11. Interesting. ! This is not a precise and careful comparison ! Just for fun, no edition. Settings are not exactly the sames, but finally, there's no large difference between both Simulators. 25 fps both, fluidity both too. The two aircraft are exactly the same. No differences in the systems, the flight model or graphics. Warning, there is an add-on scenery ( Flylogic Sion LSGS) on the FSX screenshots ! Microsoft Flight Simulator X Acceleration Dx9. Ragtopjohnny
Interesting Bill, I think after seeing P3D though, I'm actually sticking with FSX now. Thanks for the educated decision. http://i120.photobucket.com/albums/o176/ragtopjohnny/NewSig.jpg http://www.freesmileys.org/smileys/smiley-greet013.gif Checkout my new Facebook Page! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Airplane-Porn/1505438883035386 HP Z820 Workstation Intel Xeon 3.30ghz 8 Core Processor 2TB Hard Drive 16 gig of Ram 1125 Power Supply and 2 Gig Nvidia Geforce GTX 970. omega7
Thanks Bill for the demo between the 2, as per my preference FSX still leads the pack:rolleyes:;) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
lifejogger
Nice comparison Bill. Looks like P3D is a little brighter than FSX. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

billdebaze
Hello guys, Thank you first for your nice comments & interesting as usual. As says by LifeJogger, P3Dv2 can be a little brighter on my config, but there is a "HDR" function available on the game settings what can be used for a darker result ( too much on my taste). My general opinion, quickly, after a 2 days test : P3Dv2 is interesting for the simer who's beginning, & it is obvious that the future development of major add-ons will be done on the Lockheed Martin's simulator. And for owners of FSX since its inception, you have managed yours settings at best, so continue as long as possible ! Especially if you have invested a lot of time & money. Unlike visual rendering is not so great, there is no point to jump on P3D for now, it is far from being a revolution. A change at most ... Regards, B. P3Dv2 with FSGlobal 2010, FTX Global / Vector, Active Sky next P3D without Rex. No major edition, only a little sharpen. Ciao Viva & Have Fun !
