Rupert
In the past I have posted many screenshots in various forums. I started to do a post today and include a few screenies but was unable to do so. It asks for a URL of the shot I want to post. In the past it simply asked me to select a shot from my lists, then post it as long it wasn't too big. I don't know what a URL listing would be for screen shots I've saved on my computer. HOW CAN I COPY AND PASTE SCREEN SHOTS TO MY POST FOR PUBLICATION? I DON'T KNOW HOW TO CREATE A URL. mrzippy
Trying a test picture! Seemed to work OK! When it asks for a URL it is assuming you are using an image hosting site. Don't use the "Other Media" tab! Founder Nels_Anderson Posted June 29 Founder Share Posted June 29 When you open the edit box, look at the bottom left corner. You should see a paperclip and next to that the word "Drag files here to attach, or choose files... Click on "choose files".
mrzippy
I probably should have included this screenshot! Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
Rupert
I see where to choose files in your post. Complete with your drawn in arrow. However when I try to start a new post it doesn't look like that!! I see no paperclip or option to Drag files or choose files. I even tried to copy a file and paste it but that didn't work either. It looked like it was there but when I posted it didn't show up. What are the steps needed to get the option to choose files or even open an edit box??? Sorry to be such a pain!!! But I think the shots I have of Moffitt Field Hanger 1 are very good. mrzippy
Michael, This is what I see when I open a reply or just starting a post. Do you regularly login and logout of your account here? Try it. If that doesn't help, I would send a PM to Adrian to see if there is a problem! Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
Founder Nels_Anderson Posted June 30 Founder Share Posted June 30 I think it may be your browser. Have you changed it recently? I looked at the page source code and while I don't completely understand what it's doing, it looks like there are two different ways of displaying the file attachment section of the form, depending on some variable that's not clear to me.
