defaid Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 There are 3 stock aurora effects files. The aurora doesn't always show: I'm not sure what the trigger might be, maybe just a probability percentage. The best chance of seeing it is above 10,000 feet, after midnight local and above 68°. In no way facetiously, is this implemented yet in MSFS?
Airbasil_1 Posted June 4, 2023 Posted June 4, 2023 looks terrific... love it.. i myself haven't yet seen them... not even high up north in Finland / Lappland... it would be awesome to see them somewhere inbetween Kittilä and Narsarsuaq. And wherever you're off to... --> Have a safe Trip!
darrenvox Posted June 9, 2023 Posted June 9, 2023 ive seen them loads of times in the NWT of Canada and other areas!! 1 WJA221, BFL0200, ASA2703 http://www.darrensfs9site.weebly.com http://darrensflightsimblog.blogspot.com/ https://discord.gg/6d5V7Qu << <<<fs9 discord
defaid Posted December 4, 2023 Author Posted December 4, 2023 Who'd have thought? There's also an aurora australis, found somewhere in the Southern Ocean while testing the C-130's range.
