johnclift
Nvidia announced it was going to install the latest G-Force Experience update and I said OK. Then MSFS would crash in normal mode and only runs in Safe Mode (which is OK but my son says it isn't.). MSFS says it's probably due to 3rd Party add-on issues, but I don't any 3rd party stuff. I uninstalled the G-Force Experience, but it has made no diff. Ant ideas please ?

I would first go here- https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html Use that to uninstall you Nvidia drivers. Here is also a guide to how to use it- Then I would install an earlier version of NVIDIA drivers, I would not use Geforce (just my opinion) I've read/heard to many things about it and MSFS I use this software from time to time to reinstall only certain parts of the Nvidia drivers- https://www.techpowerup.com/download/techpowerup-nvcleanstall/ Edited March 24, 2023 by davidc2 additional info Windows 10 Pro, 32 gigs DDR4 RAM, Nvidia GForce RTX 3070, Intel I7 10700 running at 3.8, with Noctua NH-L9x65, Premium Low-Profile CPU Cooler-HP Reverb G2 for Virtual Reality

johnclift
Solved. I realised that for some reason it was running in DX12 Beta. Went back to DX11 and it has run fine for three days now. There isn't any discernible diff between DX12 znd DX11 anyway.

True as far as FPS goes, but DX12 blurs the GPS screens too much on my system. DX11 displays them sharp and clear. Tim Wright "The older I get, the better I was..."
