Bank mode in TBM 930

Recommended Posts

The bank mode in the TBM 930, when engaged, prevents stall if attempting to bank too steeply if flying slow or high.  I cannot seem to find any procedures as to when it is appropriate to engage it.  Any suggestions?

I don't know if this helps but I found a table with the stall speeds of the TBM 930. If you fly faster than 137 knots, you can have a bank angle of up to 60° without getting a stall. So you probably won't need this mode engaged. But if you fly slower and do some turns I would use that mode.
