FrankPilot
The collision of two Boeing 747 "Jumbo" airliners on the single runway of the main airport on the island of Tenerife, Canary Islands, in 1977, remains the world's worst-ever aviation disaster in terms of the number of people who died. Come with me in MSFS and see how the disaster unfolded through a series of unfortunate events. Hope you find it interesting. Cheers. PhrogPhlyer
Excellent re-creation and explanation. This incident has been the shining example of the principle of know where The Other Plane is. If now absolutely sure,,,, stop, ask, ask, and ask again. 1 Always Aviate, then Navigate, then Communicate. And never be low on Fuel, Altitude, Airspeed, or Ideas. Yeah, he could have at least waited until he saw Pan Am coming up the taxiway alongside him. Cheers. 1 Frank’s Airfields in MSFS: https://youtube.com/channel/UCqCzobOlQLeGycCFnavVrPg
