FSX Crash Detection

Hello ! I've been having some problems with crashing into invisible terrain/objects in SBRJ's 20L/R. I've tried everything and couldn't solve it. So my last resort is to turn off the crash detection. However, when I do this, instead of crashing, FSX throws you back on the air or sends you to the ground.

Does FSpassangers has any resource that can avoid this "reaction" that FSX has ?

Thanks

Eduardo

Hi. That is the problem .. when I leave it off, instead of crashing into an invisible object, FSX throws the plane to the ground when I am about 50 ft from touchdown. When taking off, it throws the plane 2500 ft into the air ...

Sounds like a terrain/elevation problem. A collision with an object wouldn't shoot the plane up like this, only a ground level crash does this AFAIK.

You could try to put a flattening polygon onto the airport or the runway using ADE. Or, if you have it, the FS Global mesh software has a tool for flattening areodromes (AFM).
