Need someone to create a FSX Mission based off of "Amazon Trek" for a school project

I'm a graphic design student and we are having a design conference at school this week. I wanted to create some sort of experience that people can partake in at the conference that focuses on exploration, adventure, etc. I thought FSX would be great for that.

I have build a structure the sim is going to be in. I made faux bamboo out of PVC and am making the structure look like a tent for an archeologist or something out of an Indiana Jones movie.

The problem is that other school work took up a lot more time that I was planning on working on the simulator and I'm having trouble editing the FSX mission. I am trying to edit

and create an abbreviate 5-10 minute version of the mission.

I'm looking for someone who could edit the mission for me by tomorrow at 9PM EST and I will pay you for your time.

Here's the outline for the mission:

Aircraft is the DeHavilland Beaver.

- You are at the dock of the basecamp when you are tasked to deliver supplies to another basecamp down the river.

- Take off from basecamp #1

- Start flying towards basecamp #2

- Call on radio that there are archeologists that need help at the Temple

- You then have the choice to continue on flying to Basecamp #2 or you can fly to the temple to save them. (I figured that a dialogue box could come up where if you press 1 the mission continues to the basecamp, if you press 2 the mission compass changes to the temple.)

- *Option 1: Continue flying to Basecamp #2 and then land at the next dock to drop off supplies.*

- *Option 2: Fly to temple*

- Once you land at the temple, the same sequence happens as the original FSX mission. i.e. you pick the archaeologists up, Temple starts to collapse and you have the high-tail it out of there.

- Takeoff from Temple

- Continue flying to Basecamp #2

- Land and taxi to dock at Basecamp #2: Mission is now complete.

The whole temple shaking sequence stays the same, but the two basecamps would need to be added along the same river (shorter travel time to keep the mission under 10 minute long).

Edit: Just to clarify, this is for an independent study where the main focus is building and designing the space that it is in. I wanted to do the mission as an added element for it has proved to be more complicated for me to do in the time that I have.

It's like designing a website and paying a developer to code the website, rather than, paying someone to write a research paper for you. I hope this makes sense.

I'm sorry, but I haven't a clue how to design missions, but I have a question for you. At this point:

- Takeoff from Temple

- Continue flying to Basecamp #2

- Land and taxi to dock at Basecamp #2: Mission is now complete.

The whole temple shaking sequence stays the same, but the two basecamps would need to be added along the same river (shorter travel time to keep the mission under 10 minute long).

What happens if you were to go to Basecamp#2 and then go to the Temple, then back to Basecamp#2? How would this happen in the sequence, how would this affect the outcome? Would this make you too late to save the scientists? Would all you find is bodies all over? Would some survive to get away in your bird? would nothing at all occur till after you arrive at the Temple? If so, what's the trigger? One too any persons in the Temple? Step on a hidden tile in a Temple pathway? The possibilities are finite but their number is large.

I'm just curious. Do you have the payload available if you fly straight to the Temple from Camp #1 to pick all the scientists up and THEN go to Camp #2?

Just wondering, my brain seems to wander down these paths sometimes...

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!

Hi Pat,

You can make whatever happen in the mission while designing it (theoretically). But for this mission you would only be able to choose one of the two options (go directly to Basecamp #2 or go to the temple).

Usually in the missions when you add cargo and passengers the mission will add the weight. But because I am using this simulator with non-aviation people I wanted to make it a little easier to complete so the payload remains the same.

There would only be one scientist that would be picked up, so they will fit in the Beaver :-)
