chicagorandy
I recently discovered that on my Aerolite 103 (Nemeth Designs) the throttle slide would not function using either my joystick or my throttle quadrant. The mouse would still operate the throttle manually. This was unique to the Aerolite, all other planes I tried had no throttle issues. Some Google searching yielded the solution to my woes. I had to go into CONTROLS and add the throttle assignment to the Throttle 1 Axis selection for both the joystick and the quadrant. Leaving me with two assignments for the same basic throttle function. I do NOT know why the Nemeth Aerolite is looking for a Throttle 1 control rather than just the basic Throttle used by all the other planes, but it is what it is and making that change lets me fly the plane again, so Yay! lol "Don't believe everything you see on the internet." - Abe Lincoln HP Pavilion Desktop i5-8400@2.8ghz, 16gb RAM, 1TB M.2 SSD, GTX1650 4GB, 300 MBPS internet, 31.5" curved monitor, Logitech yoke-throttle, Flt Vel trim wheel, TFRP rudder pedals, G/M IR headset, Extreme 3D Pro joystick, Wheel Stand Pro S Dlx
johnost
I have the same problem, and Aerolite gave me the same answer you used. However, does that setting screw up control of all other planes? I stopped using the Aerolite for that reason
chicagorandy
I can where it 'could' create an issue flying a multi engine aircraft. But it's easy enough to temporarily remove the Throttle 1 assignment. I'll try the Junkers at some point tomorrow and report back. chicagorandy
Update - I tried a few twin engine planes and the Fokker and Junkers tri-motors. Thankfully their throttles all responded to the default Throttle assignment for my quadrant and joystick controls and disregarded the Throttle 1 assignment. So if you opt to make the one-time additional assignment for Throttle 1 axis for your controllers (yes, two functions -Throttle axis and Throttle 1 axis - will then be assigned to the same controller input without creating any conflicts) you can then return to flying the Nemeth 103 with ease. I did send off a request to Nemeth Designs to go back to the way their plane's throttle was originally created, but this easy mod is a simple work-around until they do.
