Finally! Xplane 12 ticks boxes......

Recommended Posts

I bought Xplane 12 yesterday and spent 8hrs having a good look... I like what I see, under the hood it's a far better sim than MSFS2020 just lacks the eye candy, or does it... For me I love the retro look and it's not pretending to be something it's not... so now having 2 sims Xplane will be reserved for Airbus and MSFS2020 for Boeing. One more advantage over Microsoft is that this sim will be a better tool for those wishing to move on to the real thing.... "Upgrading to X-Plane for Professional Use Using the professional-use USB keys, the simulator can also be upgraded for commercial use, as well as for FAA certification."

The only thing I've not tried yet is firing it up in VR will be doing this later tonight....
