Timberleaf
I am requesting anyone to give their insights and thoughts about FSCaptain. I am considering to buy it. I just don't know that much about it. HoggyDog
Edited to remove everything, since my response was about a similarly-named but different product. Thanks for the clue, HillBillyJim. i7-10700K @3.8-5.1GHz, 32GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM, GTR-2060 Super 8GB, 2x SSDs
HillBillyJim
Ah I believe he meant this, not CaptainSim hoggydog :) http://www.fscaptain.net Anyway, I dont personally own it, but I have heard nothing but good things about it. Definitly adds a little depth to the world of FSX. And it has been recently updated, which is nice. GO for it. http://vnorthwest.com/lib/signatures/NWA3004.png Great VA! av8tor98
I got FSCaptain for P3D only and have used it quite a bit. It does add quite a bit of depth and realism to the sim. It is customizable. You can install the FSCaptain FMC module into each aircraft you plan to fly with a click of a button. And, if you don't want to use the FMC, uninstall it from that particular aircraft. The developer does a good job on updating the software, too. I can't remember if FS Captain has a demo, but if so, try it out. Good support overall. I have been using FS Passengers for FSX for a long time. The developer has recently updated it for FSX and FSX-SE. You can use the demo and see if you like it. There will be a P3D version coming out soon. I plan to ditch FS Captain once Dan has released FsP for P3D. Timberleaf
Well, I went to their website and was going to try the option, "try before you buy". My virus protection identified this file as a potential nuisance and unwanted programs. Since I am uncertain, I come back here again seeking opinions and thoughts. I understand it all comes down to my taking a chance. But that chance is smaller if others have already taken that same chance with no loss. av8tor98
You went to which website? I assure you that if you went to fspassengers.com or fscaptain.net and downloaded the demos, you won't be getting a bad file. Maybe your antivirus is making a false positive.
