I know you said the sim’s master volume keeps going up.. but what happens if you reduce the other volume sliders? (Engine sound..voices..etc)

I take it your pc speakers doesn’t have a physical volume knob? That would be the simplest solution of course.

how can i describe it maybe i not saying it right u dont have to be playing msf it could be the startup screen u click on it and the system vol goes full blast, i do have an external music controller i can lower it but when i click onto another program or web page it drops the vol back down so if i lower it from the external i would be going back and forth making it louder and lower i got to fix it right i just reset the defaults in msf that did nothing i have reset everywhere i can find and noting. if i shut off the master vol in mfs still does noting for everything else that is playing sound like utube i have to keep any other app or program there own vol control low. even if u have mfs minimized and u open it it makes it louder as its opening... as u minimize fs it returns the vol lower also Edited by ralphie1313

There is a glitch with msfs in that the music always plays loud while the sim is launching, but this only happens for a second or two. If you reduce the music to minimum (or even mute completely) it will always come on loud during the load screen, albeit briefly.

I’m guessing your problem is connected with this,
