papa4
I host multi-flying, my friend logs on to my session and we fly anywhere, seeing each other. Communicate through TeamSpeak. We have the same version of FSX Deluxe/Accelerator and video cards. The objects were placed in my FSX and I see them always. Anyone know the solution? jandjfrench
Hi, Unless your scenery and that of your friend are identical there will be differences. This involves complexity settings as well. Jim F.
pvarn
^^^ Yup. Your friend will have to install the same scenery and his graphics settings will need to be close enough that important scenery elements are not removed by one or the other of you. Some people use lower settings to preserve higher frame rates. Just so you know, in multiplayer, your FSX apps do not share graphics by transmitting them over the internet connection. If they did, you would get one frame a month. They share WHERE in the world you are, speed, altitude and WHAT plane you are flying. You will have to use the same scenery and same aircraft for MOST things to look identical to the both of you. Even the weather will be different unless both are using the same weather generator and even then there can be temporary differences due to timing issues. -Pv- 2 carrot salad, 10.41 liter bucket, electric doorbell, 17 inch fan, 12X14, 85 Dbm
papa4
Thanks for the detailed answer, I think I can copy my scenery files and install them into his FSX, it worked with the SIM-Objects. we now have all the same aircraft. We will insure that all of our settings are the same. Thanks again, Papa4
papa4
Thanks, I'm working on that premise, I installed my Sim-Object file over his and we now have the same aircraft etc., the hard part will be the vast amount of data in the addon-scenery/scenery files it won't all fit on the thumb drive, so I will have to split the file into smaller files. napamule2
If you put the files into a zip your data will be a lot less and might fit your thumb drive. For example a (aprox) 40 mb folder can be reduced to (aprox) 6 mb. Chuck B Napamule i7 2600K @ 3.4 Ghz (Turbo-Boost to 3.877 Ghz), Asus P8H67 Pro, Super Talent 8 Gb DDR3/1333 Dual Channel, XFX Radeon R7-360B 2Gb DDR5, Corsair 650 W PSU, Dell 23 in (2048x1152), Windows7 Pro 64 bit, MS Sidewinder Precision 2 Joy, Logitech K-360 wireless KB & Mouse, Targus PAUK10U USB Keypad for Throttle (F1 to F4)/Spoiler/Tailhook/Wing Fold/Pitch Trim/Parking Brake/Snap to 2D Panel/View Change. Installed on 250 Gb (D:). FS9 and FSX Acceleration (locked at 30 FPS).
