gdr1944
FSX CH Throttle Quadrent I used, CHCtlMgr.exe, FSUIPC4,and FSX to calibrate but I can't get 100% in game on any leaver. Is there a way to edit FSUIPC4.ini or some other file to get 100%. FSUIPC4.ini: Throttle1=-16380,-512,512,16380/16 Throttle2=-16380,-512,512,16380/16 Mixture1=-16256,8192,8192,16380/32 Mixture2=-16256,8024,8024,16380/32 PropPitch1=-16380,8024,8024,16380/48 PropPitch2=-16380,-512,512,16380/32 Thanks for looking GDR1944 Army Engineer Veteran..Busted for insubordination Nam-1966
Captain Vodka
funnily enough i have the same issue on my thrust master Hotas stick , always have. Thought it was a deficiency in the TH Hotas. .same in the saitek throttle quadrants i just purchased. apparently it seems to be an inherent problem with joysticks? krasen
Greetings, You can edit the FSUIPC.ini file with any text editor, such as Notepad. I think you need to recalibrate your throttle axes in FSUIPC as the area between idle and reverse thrust is currently set for about 1/2 way through your arc. Your current setting, BOLDED below, might be a good starting point for a joystick null zone, but really sucks as is for your throttle arcs. Throttle1=-16380,-512,512,16380/16 Throttle2=-16380,-512,512,16380/16 This is my current setup with NO provision for reverse thrust. FSUIPC recommends leaving a small null zone at both ends of the travel. Throttle1=-16120,-16120,-16125,15996 Throttle2=-16120,-16120,-16125,15996 Setting it up for reverse thrust might look something like: Throttle1=-16120,-15900,-15700,15996 Throttle2=-16120,-15900,-15700,15996 where -15900, -15700 is your idle "detent" and the reverser actually starting around - 15950 or lower. Hope this helps, or gets you started on the right track. Respectfully, Brian
gdr1944
Thanks: You see, I didn't know I had joy settings for throttle. That helped a lot. Someone somewhere must have "suggested" settings for FSUIPC.ini throttle, Prop Pitch (FTR) and Mixture 100% (idle/Cut) Army Engineer Veteran..Busted for insubordination Nam-1966
