lazorbeam
I've looked for answers to this online but got nothing so it's time to ask here. So, the questions are: 1. When at the gates for takeoff and after landing and you call the jetway/baggage truck to the plane, is there any indication to let you know all baggage has been unloaded/loaded? I know passengers are just labeled as weight and don't really exist. 2. In the 747-400, is there a way to truly shut down the engines where there's no noise? pvarn
By default (no add-ons) there is no actual passenger/baggage transfer of weight. I think the truck just have a hard-coded period of time, then they leave. I don't recall there is any SDK for detecting their behavior, so no. Other than watching them, nothing you can do. You can use the key commands for shutting off the fuel supply Control-alt F1. Same as using the switches in the throttle quad. If the engines are completely spooled down, any noises you continue to hear are likely from nearby AI/Mult/, vehicles, aircraft or wind. -Pv- 2 carrot salad, 10.41 liter bucket, electric doorbell, 17 inch fan, 12X14, 85 Dbm

mrzippy
Baggage loading/unloading is basically a "pretend" thing for default and most 3rd party addon aircraft. Like kingnorris said, Ground Services X (payware) is your best bet to remedy that situation. Some POSKY and ProjectAirbus, and TDS aircraft have popup panels with switches that will have bigger cargo unloaders, fuel trucks, catering trucks, passenger buses, and pushback tugs. There is a setting you can program that is called auto-shutdown that will shutdown the engines and stop the turbines from spinning. From there you just need to shutdown your lights and electrical. Still thinking about a new flightsim only computer!
