paul_53
I'm baffled, haven't been on the sim for a few days and I go to load it up and I'm stuck looking at Mount Fuji, so far 15 minutes and counting. To be fair this is the first time I have had any problems, all updates worked, never an issue, but this I don't really know where t start. Anyone got any ideas? paul_53
I did a reboot but its made no difference. It's sat there for 30 minutes now with no change? Looking on Task Manager it's using 94% of the GPU just for that:confused: I did read somewhere that an overfull community folder can be a problem but I haven't got that much in there and like I said up to now ran sweet as a nut on Ultra, even over London smooth at 30 fps
tiger1962
Have you added MSFS to your antivirus exclusions? Maybe your antivirus is blocking MSFS. paul_53
I've only got Windows Defender as I use a Laptop for general web use. It has got me baffled, I would do a re-install but I have all the Orbx UK stuff and a few USA airfields. Someone suggested clearing out the community folder and try that. Anyone know if it is possible to shift them out and put them back. I also remember reading somewhere that you can backup all your settings from somewhere, that's what I would want to do before a full reinstall
g7rta
You can move the contents of the community folder, no problem. Or just make a copy of the folder then delete the contents of the original. Should you decide to reinstall, then all the paid addons (Orbx etc) can be reinstalled via the content manager (assuming you bought them via the marketplace) Regards Steve Intel I9-13900K - Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite AX - 64Gb DDR5 5600Mhz - Asus RTX4090 ROG STRIX 24GB 3x 43” Panasonic 4k TVs - Corsair RMx 1200W PSU - 2 x 2TB M.2, 2 x 4TB SATA III and 1 x 4TB M.2 SSDs.
