davidc2
Well, ever since the sim updated itself, I have been unable to fly the 152/172, both AC will only go to 5 degrees up, no further. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. Not sure what else to do :) Edited November 1, 2020 by davidc2 Windows 10 Pro, 32 gigs DDR4 RAM, Nvidia GForce RTX 3070, Intel I7 10700 running at 3.8, with Noctua NH-L9x65, Premium Low-Profile CPU Cooler-HP Reverb G2 for Virtual Reality
g7rta
Hi David, I actually formatted my pc the other day and reinstalled everything. Somehow MSFS still saved all my settings. All the graphics settings etc were still as I left them. Presumably everything must be saved in the cloud. So.. maybe whatever is causing this has saved itself and your reinstall means you’ve still got the problem. You could try doing a reset? Go into the app settings.. where you will see uninstall, repair.. and RESET etc. I’ve never tried a reset but what have you got to lose? Edit: just read your other post. Presumably you were trying to right click a shortcut? press the Windows key & start typing FLIGHT... you will see MSFS. To the right of the screen you will see Open, Run as admin, pin to taskbar, APP SETTINGS etc click on App settings scroll down and you should see RESET From what I have read elsewhere, not only does the reset wipe all your FS config files, but it may wipe FS completely and would require reinstalling everything again, but at least it’d be a clean system. As I said, I’ve never tried this myself. davidc2
Got it fixed!!! Another poster asked me to look and see if I was flying Legacy settings, instead of Modern. I was switched the settings to Modern, and I am in the air again!
