Last night put it on everything looked like looking at google earth with a real plane real everything !! then this morning it looks like a game again ? is it me is the mind playing tricks!! Oh wow just noticed something as i was typing this if i set the time of day to like the sunsetting omg!! so real looking but then if i make it the middle of the day it looks fake again!!! windows 11, asus crosshair viii dark hero, 64mb g.skill d4 4000 ram, amd ryan9 5950 clocked to 4.3, noctua nh-u12s, asus rtx 4080 oc, 2x samsung 980 pro ssd 3tb m.2 nvme x3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

lawlegge Posted October 2, 2020 Share Posted October 2, 2020 ...I was going to say - until I saw the "time of day" thing, so this may or may not be pertinent to the O/P's quandry. I'll mention it for general info... I and others were finding that our in-sim graphics settings were reverting back to default, on every sim start we had to re-adjust our settings. It seems that may have been addressed in the 'Japan' update (but it is still early). What was noted from that issue was; 1. after making changes you would (1) save (F11) then there should be a (2) 'Validate' (ENTER). 2. NVIDIA Control Panel - in the system tray. If you're NVIDIA, MSFS can be/is optimized by the Control Panel and those settings may be altering the sim's ability to retain settings. ...at this point were still bug watching...
