doering1
Nice. Every time I see the Lear, I think of the original debut of the Learjet in MSFS! Downwind66
Thanks David and Laurie! Still having a problem with no spoilers deploying on the Lear 45's. They just show a hint of wanting to come out of the wing well, but doesn't happen. When looking at the air file for the Lear 45, entries begin at 341. There should be entries for 320, 337 and 340 which all have something to do with the spoilers. BUT how do I add those entries to the airfile? Oh well, something else to scratch my head about! The Lear 60, no complaints, what a sweetheart that one is! Rick

Perhaps Mr Zippy could help you. Perhaps yo could drop him a PM. He seems to be a real whiz at those issues. I'm shocked you have a problem with the Lear 45! I've always considered it one of the most predictable planes in my hanger. And my auto spoilers have never failed me once on it. I just arm them before landing and they come right out. However I really like the Lear 60 as well. Actually, from everything I can tell the Honda Jet, which we both love, is basically a very slightly varied version of the 45 format anyway. It seems every minor quirk I ever found in the 45 is also in the Honda Jet. Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
Downwind66
Thanks Michael - Yes, I arm the spoilers and when the wheels touch down, the spoiler offer just a thought that they might come up. Only maybe 1/2" and that is it, and they go back to hiding when I hit the "/" key! I think my Airfile is missing some entries! I'll keep pecking away at it! Thanks - Rick
kingnorris
I used to fly the Lear and would imagine I was flying a Gulfstream. NMLW
The Lear is a fun bird to fly Rick. Too bad about the spoilers, just pick long runways to land on. :D Larry
Downwind66
Thanks King N and Larry! Larry, glad to see you back! Yes, The Lear 60 is perfect. The Lear 45 flies like a champ, but the spoilers only deploy about 2"-4" max out of the wing. It will do just like it is! Rick  Edited June 23, 2020 by Downwind66
