Anyway to do something about these propellers, being not so good looking at all ...:

Ugly propellers.

For something like this good looking propellers:

Where does the change should take place? Assuming there is a quick fix.

If you are not into fixing the alpha channel I have an easier solution to show you after I do a screenshot.

P.S. If you used FSLightsman's auto installer to put that aircraft into your Sim, go to FSX/Effects/Texture folder and take a look through the "Pictures" you got.

Back soon.

Is this what you're looking for?

The what FSLightsman's auto installer???

Cheers,

OK, this one first. The auto-installer that you may have used to install that aircraft. Or maybe you point it to a folder you created and then install it to your Sim manually.

You know it is Mr Zippy. How did you do it? Tell me please.

Cheers,

1. Go to the texture folder and find spin_prop.bmp It should show a black propspin.

this causes the black spinning prop.

2. If you have any other prop aircraft that you fly, and the props look OK, then check their texture or texture.common folder to find a good prop_spin.bmp

I use the one from my KBT P3 Orion aircraft.

Be sure to rename the good prop spin to spin_prop.bmp

Sent you a P.M.

Recapping...

I do not know if you remember the ghostly looking airplane I posted some days back cause it happen to be the source as this one.

P.S. If you used FSLightsman's auto installer to put that aircraft into your Sim, go to FSX/Effects/Texture folder and take a look through the "Pictures" you got.

Yes, I trusted the installer, my bad. So I did another install in a blank folder just to check the Effects folder created. Well, well, well. Skipping that no file there nor in FSX\Effects. But it was in the aircraft texture. As it happened, the Curtis shown above had the same but better file with the same name. A little switcheroo later and voila:

Thanks as always,

Cheers,

PS:Too much drama with propellers but they are a lot of fun.
