tiger1962
Flight1 Soundstream is a small utility which keeps all the FSX sounds playing while using another program. I've been using Flight1 Soundstream (on Windows 7 x64 and FSX SP2) for about a year with no problems until the last week or two, when it's caused FSX to crash on exit: I quit FSX and return to the main menu, then exit the sim. After a few seconds, a pop-up appears saying "FSX has stopped working" and then another pop-up appears saying "FSX is restarting" or words to that effect. The Windows Event Viewer quotes error 0xc0000005 and identifies Flight1 Soundstream. After a bit of trial and error, including uninstalling Flight1 Soundstream, restarting the PC, re-downloading and re-installing it, I think I've found a solution: In the dll.xml file (located in: C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX) move the Flight1 Soundstream entry so it's the first program in the list: Launch dll.xml False False Flight1SoundStream False False C:\Flight One Software\Flight1 SoundStream\Flight1SoundStreamFSX.dll Your address may be different, but that doesn't matter.
