Making freeware install in FSX

I am new at this and just downloaded and extracted one of the freeware biplanes mentioned on this site. it downloaded into my "Download" folder, and then I extracted it and ran the setup. It never showed in FSX so I moved all the files and folder into the main part of FSX. Still no plan visible with the regular planes that come with FSX.

Can anyone explain to me what the procedure is to get downloaded planes to work in FSX?

Thanks,

Bob

No don't do that. Aircraft need to be downloaded into the SimAircraft/Airplanes folder and none other. Not if they're biplanes anyway.

Don't use `hit`n`hope`, ask or search out the correct installation method.

Now you have to remove all the garbage to get things back on an even keel.
