Thanks John and Jan, it was a rather scenic flight. Having not paid too much attention while flight planning I was rather surprised to stumble across Edwards AFB on my trip lol.

Looking at the very first pic brought a question to mind: Don't you just flip inverted at 50 feet up and let the gear fall into the wells? It works for Bob Hoover, anyway!

Then again, I think that man was born with wings on his back...

Greats pics, though, Great lookin bird and scenery! thanx!

Pat☺

Had a thought...then there was the smell of something burning, and sparks, and then a big fire, and then the lights went out! I guess I better not do that again!

Wow, what a lot of replies. I usually like to thank everyone individually so here goes, apologies if I miss any one!

Thanks Eezee, its always a blast flying with a Merlin up front, and the Mustang will make any screen shot look amazing.

Thanks Darren, its the A2A P-51, I didn't realise Alphasim did a P-51.

Thanks Gonzalo, much appreciated.

Thanks Larry, the P-51 looks damn fine from every angle.

Thanks Phil, glad you enjoyed the shots.

Thanks Adam, couldn't think of anything better for the flight.

Thanks Pat, I will have to try that Bob Hooer trick out, though I envisage it ending in some what of a mess lol.

Thanks Aviaor66, you can't beat a shiny Mustang.

Hopefully that's everyone
