bmatt569
Hi All, Finally broke down and got the Eaglesoft Cirrus SR 22 GT. First impression is that it looks really great. Took me awhile but got into the docs and found a few things, so I took it up for some pattern work. Like any other new plane it will take some getting used to. I like the Avidyne displays so far. The problem I'm having is that the Garmin GPS in the VC is totally static, no way to turn it on, use the radios, etc. In the 2D panel I can only see the top half of the GPS. Not sure what I'm missing in the documentation. done some searches and didn't really find anything. I'm using a Lenovo Ideapad 110 running Win10, FSX SE. Everything else seems to work pretty well, just the GPS. I've included a couple of screenshots of the GPS's. Thanks for any and all help. bmatt569
Oh, and, I've tried to get on the Support Forums at Eaglesoft. Even after being approved by an administrator for the forums, I can't log in. Also, I'm told that my account for the forums needs to be activated. Hopefully, I can get that worked out. StringBean
Hi Bill, I believe Eaglesoft support is one guy, so he will get to you eventually and activate your forum account. Their website advertises two GNS 430s for the 22. Your pic looks like a place holder for the Flight1 GTN 750, which would be a separate purchase. http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=gtncomplete Was there a setup option for different GPS models? peace, the Bean WWOD---What Would Opa Do? bmatt569
Bean, I think you are right about their support and that it's a placeholder for the GTN 750. I didn't see anything about setup options ... but then, I'm blind, deaf, forgetful, decrepit, in other words, getting old. So, anything is a possibility.
