aviator66
I am upgrading from Geforce 210 to Geforce GTX 750 TI. Are this video cards plug and play? I was told that the 210 pull out and the new 750 should drop in. StringBean
3 concerns. 1) Is the physical room for the new card? Some new cards take up two expansion slots because they are so thick. Length is also a concern. 2) Is your power supply unit capable of handling the new card? Newer cards are more energy efficient and do not require huge PSUs, still you want to check the specs for the new card compared to what you have. 3) Is your motherboard PCIe 2.0 or 3.0? The new 3.0 card will fit in an old 2.0 slot however it will not perform to it's fullest capabilities. peace, the Bean WWOD---What Would Opa Do? Farewell, my freind (sp) Never argue with idiots.
