Garciamk3g
Welcome to Lisalmi Airfield, Yesterday's Destination Airfield. [Real Life Photo of EFII Lisalmi Airfield]. http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/Tech582/rakennus_2_zpsyxdlpoz7.jpg During Yesterday's Flight over to Lisalmi Airfield the Engine started to run a Bit Rough. It's a good thing I Was only 5min out from the Destination Airfield. I was able to land safely, but when I removed the Engine Cover to check the Oil Level, this is what I Found http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/Tech582/-2018-jun-5-003_2_zpsbxmi0jly.jpg Alright she's all Topped off now, I was Able to get the necessary quarts Needed to fill her up...She must be leaking somewhere, going to have to take her back to the Mechanic . It's a work in Progress http://i1025.photobucket.com/albums/y317/Tech582/fg_zpsiov7k3pu.jpg Couple more shots of the place and a nice Hot Cup of Coffee before I Head out. Rupert
Nice shots and story-line! I also enjoyed seeing the radio frequency showing on the roof! Back in my days flying across the US VFR before GPS, seeing the frequency on lots more hanger roofs would have sure been handy. Reading a frequency, calling it and asking where you are is certainly easier than making a no radio landing, taxiing to the FBO and asking WTF am I!!?? Michael Being an old chopper guy I usually fly low and slow.
