UPS 747 Panel Question

Here is one for the books. I downloaded the ups744fsx-1.zip and installed it. Everything seems to work fine but when I looked into the panel folder all there was were five empty sub-folders, no panel.cfg, no gauges but it worked in the program like everything was place. Just wanted to find out what is going on. Not sure where I downloaded it. Either Simviation, Avsim or here. There were a few othe 747's the same way.

Answered my own question, the designer had them all under hidden files! Wow, never came across that before.

Here's a post I submitted awhile back and jethrom discovered the same thing you did, hidden files! It was beyond me to have a beautiful working panel and no items in the panel folders! Glad you found the mystery!

Wanting to learn something with FSX

I have had a first and I will describe best as I can:

Downloaded an Airbus A319, upon flying I noticed a very pleasing instrument panel, unlike what I have seen before with any of the Airbus lines. My question to you all, is when I go into the aircraft file and open the panel for this new download, this is what is see:

FOLDER A321

FOLDER GPWS

FOLDER reb-gauges

FOLDER Z_AB320KM

Looks pretty straight forward, but when opening each one, they are EMPTY!!! How can one get a perfectly working panel and have all it's folders empty?

You need to check your hidden files box in the folders option view dropdown. That is what I just found out in mine.

Mike - No, I am good, member jethrom found the same results you came up with and pass them along to me, It was just an FYI, plane was flying great, but I couldn't understand why the folders were empty. The above (from Wanting to learn down) is my old post asking "how can that be?" First paragraph is my reply to you!

Thanks for responding just the same! - Rick
